Jake came home from work early last Friday afternoon because the power was out at the office building he works in....so we decided to go to the zoo! The tigers were definitely our favorite part of the zoo. They are so amazing!!
The turtle was so big we wonder how he even moves.
They have this big pool for the penguins that you can watch them swim. They are really goofy little animals! Jake kept waiting for them to slip of the edge into the pool!
This is a Gemsbok. We also really liked the monkeys but the pictures of them did not turn out. We must have watched them for about 20 minutes!
We had to take a picture of a zebra because a zoo would not be a zoo without a zebra!!
Another picture of the Tigers! They are so cute and cuddly looking! But probably not so cuddly!

I LOVE THE ZOO!! I'm so jealous. I have a soft spot for Elephants! I wish we had a zoo close by, but no!
Too bad you couldn't have taken Justin, he loves the zoo. Well, he pretty much just LOVES all animals! You got some really good pictures, it looks like the animals were out and about when you went!
