CONGRATULATIONS JAKE!!!

Jake graduated on May 16, 2009 with his Bachlors Degree in Business Administration, major Information Systems! He has worked so hard and has made a great accomplishment. The campus at the University of Montana is beautiful and it was a great day for graduation. We have lots of fun pictures that I want to share so you can all be part of Jake's special day!

Here is the graduate infront of the Grizzly in the oval on campus.

Spring Break 2009

For those of you that do not live in Montana (or surrounding states) we are still getting snow!! This is what Jake and I did over the last spring break we will ever have!

Jake and his little brother went out shooting gophers a few weekends ago and found this little skull. I thought is was a great representation of Montana!

Jake went to Dillon on Thursday to work for his dad for the weekend. I made it to town on Friday night and spent all day Saturday sewing with my mom. She is working on a quilt for my youngest brother Garrett.

As you can see it is very detailed and very beautiful. I never knew how much work and time went into making a quilt, but after seeing it I will appreciate every quilt I ever receive (hint hint).

On Sunday, Garrett and I went skiing at Maverick Mountain. The snow was absolutely amazing!! They didn't groom the mountain so there was about 8 inches of fresh powder. This was the first time I skied all season and it makes me want to go more. We had so much fun!!

This is a pic of how much snow there was! It snowed the entire day.

My dad and mom came up to eat lunch with us and while we were visiting Garrett left me in the lodge and went for two runs without me. He completely wore me out! We would get off the chair lift and then he would not stop until we got to the bottom of the mountain. I had to remind him that am not young enough to keep up with him anymore and that he needed to stop at least once for me!!

While I was out skiing Jake was working. Jake and his dad were trying to get things ready to head to Utah and work on his sister's basement.

We went to Salt Lake for a few days while the guys worked on Nicole's basement. The whole time we were there, Jake tried to get Justin to wear his face mask as a hat. Finally, he did and loved it! This was his favorite new toy for a few hours.

Jake was trying to work cutting trim and doing base while I made him smile for a picture. He is very talented and quite the perfectionist! All the trim he did looked great!

On Friday, I drove to Sandy and spent the day with Kate. We had a sushi lunch and then hung out and visited for the whole day. It is so good to get together with good friends that we never get to see!

On our way home we stopped and ate in Idaho Falls at the Olive Garden for my birthday! I really wish we had one in Missoula!

When I got home my mom had made a cake for me. We had cake and opened presents. All in all it was a really low key birthday but still nice. Thanks everyone!!

Carrie Underwood!!

Beth, Julie and I went to the Carrie Underwood concert a while ago. It was an awesome concert. She definitely puts on a great show! Little Big Town opened for her. I can't wait to see her in concert again!

Here we are just before the concert waiting in line!
They had two huge screens set up on each side of the stage which was great for us since we were in the nose bleed section!

Julie and Beth showing how much fun they are having!

She was so good and we had a great time! Everyone should go see her!!

Christmas 08

I am getting really bad at updating my blog...Sorry! We spent Christmas with Airlynn's family this year. We all got spoiled rotten and had a great time! Here are a few pictures of Christmas morning.

A real Christmas tree!

My Dad got me a beautiful pair of Yogo Sapphire earrings (from Adair Jewelers of course). He made me save the best for last. It was an awesome gift from an awesome Dad!

Jake got a car stereo for Christmas so he spent a couple days installing it. It sounds great!

This is my brother Colter getting gear for ice fishing.

My brother Garrett got a new hunting gun.
This is my Dad enjoying Christmas.

Mom and my little brother Garrett.

This is my Grandma K on her 92nd Christmas!

Even the dog had a good Christmas.

Sanfrancisco 2008

I am a little late on getting this post up.....but better late than never! Jake's parents took the whole family to San Francisco September 26-29 to go see a Raider game. It was a ton of fun and we got to see some pretty neat things. This was my first trip to the big city so I was in awww the entire time!

The first day we got there we went to Pier 39 and explored the sites (I know I sound like a total tourist).

Jake and Josh decided to try this bungy thing on the Pier. Jake was really good at it but they were both tired by the time the guy stopped them.

Jake's sister Nicole, Matt & Justin

All the sea lions at the warf. They were loud and goofy!

We ate dinner at Bubba Gumps on the Pier.

The next day we went to Alcatraz! It was very intriging. They gave us MP3 players to listen to as they guided us through the Federal Penitentiary. I can't believe the history of this place and the size of the cells. What a great idea for a prison....I wish they still used it.

Justin loved the prison. He had a ton of fun going in cells and getting his picture taken.

This is a great view as we were leaving!

After Alcatraz we went downtown to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. It is on the top story of the Macy's building, so while we waited for a table Jake, Josh and I went through all the floors of Macys.

After dinner we went to a Giants Baseball game. It was really neat to see the stadium that Barry Bonds hit many of his home runs out of. They were playing the L.A. Dodgers so it was a really good game! A fight even broke out in the middle of the game.

RAIDER GAME
Our last day there was spent at the Raider game! This is the whole family dressed like true fans. We had awesome seats. We were right behind the team, three rows up! It was a really fun game even though the Raiders blew it in the 2nd half! They played the Chargers. This was the last day for Coach Kiffin because Al Davis fired him the next day!
We went into the game a couple hours early so we got to see the teams warming up. It was also a great opportunity for pictures!

Justin did so good at the game! Here he is playing football with Uncle Jake!

Nicole & I

Matt, Nicole & Justin before the game in the tailgate area.

Yeah, he is a little scary looking. These people go all out when it comes to Raider "spirit."

Jake, me & Josh before the game.

Yes, this is the guy you see on tv all the time. Kind of funny how I got this picture. I told Jake I was going to get a picture with the "spikes" guy. He just laughed and said ok. I get almost to him when I get stopped by a security gaurd and he tells me to go back to my seat. Well I didn't really like that answer so I sought other means. I walked around to where I could yell at the "spikes" guy and asked if I could come get a picture with him. He told me to come on over. So when the security gaurd stopped me this time I told him the "spikes" guy told me to come down to his seat....and the security gaurd grimmiced and let me pass! So I got the picture like I wanted!! It was really funny! Jake just watched and said "only you could pull that off." Must be my charm!!

This is one of my favorite pictures! I think we look cute in our jerseys. It was a great game!

After the game we decided to go to Ghirardelli Square. We had a great trip! I just have to say that we were very thankful to have Matt drive us around in San Francisco. He did so well in all the traffic and with everyone from the backseat yelling at him to do this and that and go here and there. If it weren't for his driving skills we would not have gotten to see as much as we did in the short time we were there.

Thanks Craig and Jackie for taking us on a great vacation! We really enjoyed it.
